"THE PATRON'S DINING ROOM FEATURING A DECANTER OF KENTUCKY MAKERS MARK BOURBONG"

THE BLUE GRASS ANTIQUES & GARDEN SHOW -- AT THE KEENLAND STABLES

Two of my room boxes were on display at the The Blue grass Trust’s Antiques & Garden Show which took place on March 10 - 13 at the historic Keeneland Race Track Stables, just outside of Lexington. The show is an annual affair which brings out all the best of everything that Kentucky has to offer.

THE BLUE GRASS ANTIQUES & GARDEN SHOW -- AT THE KEENLAND STABLES

The show was very well attended. The items on display and for sale included interesting Keenland racing memorabilia, a variety of classic American antiques and the latest in garden plants and sculpture.  My room boxes were well received, particularly the Patron’s Dining Room which featured a decanter full of Makers Mark Bourbon, pictured above.

The featured speaker for the event was Charleton Varney, one of America’s  most notable interior designers, who dropped the display booth with a few encouraging words.  Varney’s client list includes the superstars from the world of fashion, business and the entertainment world. Architectural Digest named in him in 2005 as one of the “Deans of American Design”. Some of Varney’s projects include the redecoration of the Greenbrier in West Virginia and  The Breakers in Palm Beach.
