“Curtis’s Work Tent” was featured in an follow up article in the January edition of “Best Chapter Magazine”

In an extensive article Best Chapter Magazine followed up their 2014 article on Robert Off and his miniatures. The article focused on how he created the box and included several in-process photographs as well explanations of his methods.

The roombox was created to museum standards. All of the Sioux indian artifacts within the box are accurate, the miniature of Curtis’s camera was created by an artisan in England from information and photographs from the Smithsonian. The cyanotypes that I used in the box were actually created by me using the cyanotype process with help from Jane Alden Stevens, a DAAP professor emeritus in the photographic department. All of the lights inside the box are LEDs.
