“Down East Magazine” is a very well known and respected publication which features the cultural, business and community activities of Maine –  Down East Magazine” The article features a profile of Robert Off who will be delivering a lecture at the Castine Historical Society on June 15th, 2015.

The article profiled Robert Off ‘s latest roombox “Borrowed Studio” which is based on the temporary studio which the well known maritime artist, Henry Fitz Hugh Lane, had in his friends home in Castine, Maine in 1850. The lecture is entitled “Miniature Art Meets Fitz Hugh Lane & Castine”. The lecture will explain the history of miniatures as an art form and talk briefly about the career of Lane and his Castine activities in 1850.
